January 7, 2012 Word from the Lord

The Lord spoke to me AGAIN in prayer: "There will be a PERFORMANCE of the things I have spoken." As I was meditating on this, the Holy Spirit reminded me of what was spoken to Mary in Luke 1:45 "...blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a PERFORMANCE of those things which were told her from the Lord." I know this word is for so many of you, as much as it is for me. We have been holding on to the promise for so long, but now God is going to bring it to PERFORMANCE! The promise will be REALITY! How long did Israel believe that Messiah would come? For 4,000 years, they held on to a promise. Mary was also holding on to that same promise. But suddenly, God's timing was fulfilled and Messiah was in HER WOMB! And the key is in verse 45..."because she BELIEVED..." Faith is believing even when we do not see. Holding on to a promise is believing by faith. So for all of you that have been holding on for years by faith, this word is for you! God is about to PERFORM the PROMISE! Blessed be His Name!
